OKSPA Member Update

  • Special Session Preview with House and Senate Leadership

  • Fall Annual Meeting

    • When: November 15, 2022, Tentatively 2pm-4pm with a reception from 4pm-6pm

    • Where: Tentatively The Joinery, venue subject to change

    • Who: Guest speakers are in the works, but we will update you as soon as we can.

    • What: Annual meeting, election of new 2 Board seats for OKSPA, guest speakers, reception (with invitations to new legislative members)

  • Ethics Commission Update

    • OKSPA was actively engaged in the appointment of new commissioners. New Ethics Commissioners recently appointed include former Sen. Eddie Fields and Edmond attorney Justin Meek. We believe both will be reasonable and valuable members to the Commission.

    • OKSPA is creating a special committee to review the current Ethics Rules that apply to lobbying and to make quality-of-life proposals to simplify compliance. If you would like to be a member of that committee, please contact Geoffrey Long at geoff@okspa.org or call/text 405-613-3630.
